The polishing floor is a production line

Our Gujarat facility runs a large fleet of automatic machines, from Sarine planning systems to laser saws and automatic polishers. Each stone moves through the same stations in the same order, which is how a melee lot comes back consistent from the first stone to the last.

One floor, four stations

Every stone in a lot follows the same path through our Gujarat facility: planned, laser-sawn, polished by machine and sorted. Scroll to walk the line.

Station 01 · Planning

Sarine scanning & planning

The rough turns on the scanner stage while the camera maps its shape and inclusions. The system computes the round brilliant with the best yield and locks the plan inside the stone.

Station 02 · Cutting

Automatic laser sawing

The laser follows the planned plane across the stone. The same program runs on every stone in the lot, so each cut matches the plan exactly.

Station 03 · Polishing

Automatic polishing

Four heads hold stones on dops against the spinning scaife. Each head lowers, polishes a facet at the programmed angle, then indexes to the next position, 16 steps around the stone.

Sarine scanning and planning

Each rough stone is scanned in 3D and its inclusions mapped before any cut. The plan sets the saw line and the final proportions, so the yield is decided by data before the stone reaches a machine.

Laser sawing machines

Laser machines saw each stone along the planned plane. The same program runs on every stone in a lot, which keeps the cut consistent across thousands of melee pieces.

Automatic polishing machines

Rows of automatic polishers place the table, crown and pavilion facets on the scaife. Operators load and monitor; the machines hold the angles, stone after stone.

Sieving and final check

Finished stones are sieved into size ranges from +00‑0 to -6 and checked before the lot is packed and returned.

What automation gives a buyer

01

Repeatable proportions

Machines hold the same angles on every stone, so a lot matches from start to finish.

02

Shorter turnaround

An automated line moves large melee lots through polishing faster than manual benches.

03

Your rough, tracked

Job-work lots stay together as one parcel through every station and return to you as polished goods.
